Basic courses for beginners:

1.              BASIC FASHION DESIGN
                  Elements and principles of fashion design , textiles and texture, color schemes, figure analysis in aid of designing,   
                  fabric estimates and garment costing.
                  Flat sketches and sketching the fashion figure in proper proportion with accurate garment details and color schemes.
                  Portfolio preparation, design presentation and other aspects to enhance one's ability to create a design or collection.
                  8 Sessions (2 months duration/ classes once a week) -  Every Wednesday  9AM-6PM or
                  16 sessions (2 months duration/ evening classes twice a week) - Every Monday and Wednesday 6:30-10PM or
                  16 Sessions (4 months duration/ classes once a week) - Every Saturday      9AM-1PM
                  Fee: P10,000.

2.              BASIC PATTERN MAKING
                  Achieving the right fit and proportion through proper measuring techniques.
                  Construction of personalized patterns as well as standard pattern blocks of various styles of skirts, bodice variations,  
                  set-in slev es and collars.
                  8 Sessions (2 months duration/ classes once a week) - Every Tuesday  9AM-6PM or
                  8 Sessions (2 months duration, evening classes twice a week) - Every Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-10PM or
                  16 Sessions (4 months duration/ classes once a week) - Every Saturday 2PM-6PM
                  Fee: P10,000.

3.              PATTERN MAKING FOR CHILDREN'S WEAR
                  Drafting of basic pattern blocks for various clothing styles for infants, toddler, children, junior boys  and junior girls.
                  Grading of patterns blocks to different sizes for mass production.
                  8 Sessions (2 months duration/ classes once a week) - Every Thursday  9AM-6PM
                  Fee: P10,000.

4.              PATTERN MAKING FOR MENSWEAR

                  Drafting of basic as well as more complicated patterns for menswear.
                  Emphasis on the male body measurements and putting the right ease according to clothing type - body fit 
                  t-shirts, executive shirts, jeans style pants and slacks, blazers and sporswear.
                  8 Sessions (2 months duration/ classes once a week) - Every Friday  9AM-6PM
                  Fee: P10,000.

5.              FASHION MERCHANDISING I
                 Basic Fashion Merchandising course revolves around the business side of fashion and offers incredible opportunities for
                 students who love fashion and want to make their own fashion business or start a fashion career. Many graduates of
                 this course now have their own successful fashion businesses and also many already have satisfying jobs and now
                 working as merchandisers, buyers, visual merchandiser, stylists, product / brand managers with established brands
                 like Zara, Folded & Hung, Plains & Prints, Tyler, Bayo, SM, Robinsons, Crossings, U-Boat, Tomato, and more. In this
                 course you will learn:

                           ·         How to analyze a brand, plan and control your own brand or business start up.

                           ·         Visual merchandising techniques and rules of store display. How product color arrangement, fixture, layout,
                                     wall and window display can make a winning difference in today's competitive market.

                           ·         How trends start and how to forecast trends in order to have right for the right market.

                           ·         What are the roles of a merchandiser, buyer, and visual merchandiser and how they plan their work on
                                     daily basis.

                           ·         Why excess file stock up and how we can manage it in different ways.

                           ·         Why fashion seasons are so important and how they are planned.

                           ·         How to calculate product costs and how to price a product in order to achieve desired profits.

                 This course focuses on a complete fashion retail business management process. From startup business plan, planning
                 sales, planning cycle, inventory planning, intake for day to day management of business.


                           ·         Explore how to construct a detailed business plan.

                           ·         Forecast and plan sales and create initial sales plan document for your business.

                           ·         Develop a merchandising plan, product range plan and plan what to buy, how much to buy and when to buy.

                           ·         Plan seasonal phases and how to manage and control your width and depth of stock as season progress.

                           ·         Plan your range garment size ration and color option.

                           ·         Develop own manual and automated replenishment of stocks.

                           ·         Study and compare different products profitability and also evaluate your product category space
                                     management.


                           ·         Inventory management and weekly stock intake management.

                           ·         Plan your stock to sale levels and calculate and manage your left over stocks.

                           ·         Garment sourcing and planning markdowns and promotions.

                 Introduces students to personal and professional styling through mastery of different body types (problem areas and

dressing and styling for formal occasions, accessorizing and wardrobe coordination for themed
                 editorial pictorials. Course also includes
the elements and guidelines for organizing a photoshoot. Students will
                 accomplish a professional stylist portfolio. Interview guidelines as
well as hands-on experience with magazine
                 photoshoots.

9.             FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY
                 Basic fundamentals on digital photography, composition, studio lighting, concept making and fashion directing.
                 Hands-on training on glamour, commercial, high fashion (haute couture) and freestyle photography as well as creating 
                 a series on individual story through photography.

10.           BAG MAKING I
                 Designing and making o patterns for bags of all kinds in various materials and for all occasions, functionality of bag
                 created, lining
treatment, handles, and other findings as well as well as the assembly and overall finishing of the bag. 
                
                 Every Thursday 2pm to 6 pm or Every Saturday 2pm to 6 pm

11.           FASHION EMBELLISHMENTS AND BEADING
                 Various types of embellishments for accesories, fabric painting, screen printing, and beading using sequins, cut beads,
                 bugle beads,
crystals, rhinestones, pearls and other beading techniques.

                 Every Thursday 9am to 1 pm or Every Saturday 9am  to 1 pm

12.           FASHION ACCESSORIES

                 Emphasis is on necklaces, chokers, earrings, bracelets and bangles.
                 Students will learn about the types of beads, glass, finishes used, bead sizes, threads and cords,  stringing beads,
                 findings, wireworks, finishings,  colors and texture, design inspitations as well as sourcing of materials.


                 8 Half-Day sessions

                 (1 month duration/ classes twice a week)
                 Every Monday and Friday 9am to 1 pm

13.           BASIC SEWING FOR LADIES' WEAR

                 The basics and foundation of sewing. Emphasis on dressmaking, sewing operations and procedures, quality of the
                 stitching job, proper pressing techniques, darts,
tucks, pleats, sleeves and cuffs, hems, collars, and other technical
                 sewing skills.
Sewing skirts of various styles, bodice and blouse variations , dresses with darts or princess seams as
                 well as bias dresses.
Sewing Duration: No time limit as long as the 6 course projects are completed within 6 months
                 after enrollment.
                 Student can choose schedule anytime of the day, any number of hours per session.

14.           TAILORING - MENSWEAR
                 Garment construction for menswear.
                 Emphasis on t-shirt, shirt, barong, pants, unlined and fully constructed blazers and trench coat.
                 Sewing Duration: No time limit as long as the 6 course projects are completed within 6 months after enrollment.
                 Student can choose schedule anytime of the day, any number of hours per session.

15.           ADVANCE FASHION DESIGN
                 Freehand fashion illustration, figure drawing, fabric details and color rendering.

16.           ADVANCE PATTERN MAKING
                 Drafting more diverse and elaborate patterns.
                 Stylizing basic pattern blocks to make more fashionable clothing - bustier, halter, off-the-shoulder, stretch and bias
                 cowl dresses, bolero and various cuts of blazers and pants.

                 Pre-requisite - Basic Pattern Making

                 8 Sessions (2 months duration/ classes once a week) - Every Wednesday  9AM-6PM or
                 16 Sessions (4 months duration/ classes once a week) - Every Saturday  9AM-1PM

17.           HAUTE COUTURE TECHNIQUES
                 Exploration of new fashion areas for designing apparel and the application of various high fashion sewing techniques
                 used in the couture houses in Milan and Paris - the twist, cowls, swirls, draping, texturizing with ruching, trapunto,
                 smocking, lace sculpturing, beading and much more.

                 Pre-requisite - Basic Pattern Making

                 8 Sessions (2 months duration/ classes once a week) - Every Monday  9AM-6PM  or
                 16 Sessions (4 months duration/ classes once a week - Every Saturday 2PM-6PM

18.           ADVANCE SEWING
                 High fashion sewing for ladies wear.
                 Emphasis on garment details and sewing complicated and stylized women's wear  -different lined skirt silhouettes
                 (bias,circle, sarong,
a-line, gore with train extensions, fishtails or godets) stretch dresses, bustier, pants and lined
                 blazer.

                 Sewing Duration : No time limit as long as the 6 course projects are completed within 6 months after enrollment. Student
                 can choose schedule anytime of the day, any number of hours per session.

19.           FASHION MAKE-UP II

20.           BAG MAKING II
                 Specialty one-of-a-kind bag design and construction. Patternmaking for complicated bag designs either fabric-based or
                 for patent leather as well. Design and execution of novelty bags made out of woven crystals, rubber bands and
                 wire-works.

                 Ever Friday 2pm - 5pm
